Critical updates regarding Torzon Market infrastructure, security protocols, and cryptocurrency integration.

Update: Enhanced DDoS Mitigation & Mirror Rotation

The darknet landscape is currently experiencing a wave of high-bandwidth DDoS attacks targeting major marketplaces. In response, the Torzon official engineering team has deployed a new layer of "Endgame" protection.

What this means for you:
Accessing the main torzon url might occasionally result in a "Queue" screen. This is normal. It is the system filtering out botnet traffic from legitimate user requests. Do not refresh the page; let the queue timer finish.

Furthermore, we have increased the rotation frequency of our private mirrors. If your saved torzon link stops working, it has likely been retired to prevent IP enumeration attacks. Always check our Verified Links page for the latest PGP-signed addresses.

The Shift to Monero-Only Standards

As blockchain analysis tools like Chainalysis and Elliptic become more sophisticated, Bitcoin (BTC) is becoming increasingly unsafe for darknet commerce. The Torzon market is committed to user safety above profit.

Starting next quarter, we will be prioritizing Monero (XMR) for all transactions. While BTC deposits are still accepted, they will require a higher number of confirmations (3 instead of 1) and will incur a mixing fee to break the taint chain.

Why XMR?
Monero uses RingCT (Ring Confidential Transactions) to hide transaction amounts and stealth addresses to hide the receiver. When you deposit XMR to your torzon wallet, the link between your exchange and the market is mathematically broken. We strongly advise all users to learn how to swap BTC to XMR before depositing.

Phishing Wave: Verify Your Onion Links

We have detected a massive phishing campaign on Clear-net social media (Reddit, Twitter/X) and unverified Wikis. Malicious actors are posting fake torzon login URLs that function as "Man-in-the-Middle" attacks.

The Anatomy of the Attack:
1. You click a link from Reddit.
2. The site looks exactly like Torzon.
3. You enter your credentials.
4. The site passes your credentials to the real market, logs you in, but records your password.
5. When you deposit funds, the site replaces the market's deposit address with their own.

Defense: Always verify the PGP signature of the login page. If you do not know how to verify a PGP signature, you should not be trading on the darknet. Visit our Wiki for a refresher on PGP verification protocols.

New Escrow Timeframes for Physical Goods

Due to global shipping delays affecting international postal services, Torzon market is extending the automatic finalize timer for international orders.

Old Policy: 14 Days Auto-Finalize.
New Policy: 21 Days for International, 10 Days for Domestic.

This change protects buyers from losing money when packages are stuck in customs. Vendors, please adjust your expectations accordingly. Remember, you can always request an extension in the order chat if tracking shows movement. This update applies automatically to all new orders placed after July 5th.
